Terminal 1 arrivals and a possible Jewel visit
Terminal 1 is directly connected to Jewel, so it is easy to mix up an airport pickup with a later collection after shopping or a meal. For a direct transfer, complete immigration and baggage collection, then follow the chauffeur's instructions for your Terminal 1 arrival pickup. Keep the terminal and the collection point in the same WhatsApp conversation.
If you want time in Jewel, make that a planned part of the booking. A visit can take you away from the original meeting area while the arrival waiting allowance continues from landing. Tell Merge whether you want to leave immediately or arrange a later pickup, and confirm where everyone and the luggage will be collected. Do not assume a Jewel exit is the agreed Terminal 1 vehicle bay.
Keeping a family together at T1
Choose one lead traveller to contact the chauffeur after collecting the last suitcase. If part of your party goes to Jewel, buys a SIM card or waits at a different exit, regroup before asking the vehicle to approach. Send the visible exit sign if you need help. Meet & Greet is useful when the family would prefer a named person to guide the walk from the public arrival hall.
The steps after you land
Complete immigration, collect every bag and clear customs before heading to the public collection area. With driveway pickup, message your chauffeur when the group is ready and follow the agreed directions. With Meet & Greet, find the name display inside the public arrival hall and walk to the vehicle with your chauffeur. Neither option requires you to guess a permanent bay number in advance.
Send an update if a bag is missing, the flight is changed or immigration takes longer than expected. Keep your phone available on airport Wi-Fi or mobile data. If the arriving party is split across flights, tell Merge both flight numbers and the intended meeting plan at booking; one arrival reservation should not silently become several separate collections.
Returning to the airport
For a departure from Terminal 1, give the collection address, departure flight and desired pickup time. Plan backwards from your airline's check-in guidance with room for the road journey. The pickup is from your hotel, home or office, and the drop-off terminal should match the confirmed departing flight. Departure fares and waiting rules differ from an airport arrival.

Avoid moving between terminals after the vehicle has been arranged unless you have first confirmed the change with Merge.
Choose your vehicle and see the full fare
Match the vehicle to everyone travelling and all the luggage. An Alphard / Vellfire has a recommended fit of 5 guests with 4 standard check-in bags. A V-Class is recommended for six guests with four bags. Child seats, prams, cabin bags and unusually large suitcases can reduce usable space. Tell Merge about them before choosing a category; a larger passenger count does not guarantee more luggage room.
Standard Alphard / Vellfire driveway arrivals start at S$80. Arrival-hall Meet & Greet adds S$25 per booking, making the standard arrival S$105 before other applicable charges. Changi airport surcharge, parking and ERP are included. Arrival waiting includes 60 minutes from actual landing.
A one-time S$15 charge applies from 23:00–05:59 Singapore time. Child seats are S$15 each. A non-hourly transfer exceeding 28.1 km by road adds S$10 once. Peak dates, extra waiting and approved additional stops can change the total. Review the itemised booking fare and booking policy before confirmation.

Is a fixed door number guaranteed?
No. The chauffeur confirms the practical meeting point. Follow the latest instructions and tell Merge if you are at a different exit.
Does waiting begin after baggage collection?
No. The 60-minute included arrival allowance begins at actual landing. Contact Merge promptly if baggage or immigration takes longer.
